An Effective, Solution-focused Therapy

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an exciting new branch of hypnotherapy, it uses and capitalises on the altered states of mind we all exhibit every day. Have you ever driven home safely but not remembered every part of the journey? You were actually in a natural everyday trance and this tendency to allow the mind to drift can be used therapeutically in a very natural way, by using the way your mind works to help it create your own solutions, for easy, permanent change. In my work as a hypnotherapist in Wakefield I have seen many, many, 'natural healings' using these techniques as clients problems seem to simply melt away and cease to trouble them.

Hypnosis is deeply relaxing, however I only use light trance levels, you won't be asleep, just deeply relaxed and with a sense of re-vitalisation.

My aim is to make the change process so intrinsic, so much a part of you becoming you, that you maybe don't realise quite how much you have changed until a friend complements you or you realise how well you have dealt with a previously troublesome situation.

This science-based specialised technique aims to gently remove the causes of the unwanted behaviours so the habits and behaviours naturally and permanently fade away. Maybe I can help you?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)is a language-based process to promote change, to 'get unstuck' or 'get out of your own way' so your mind works in a way that you find more useful and empowering, to let you get on with your life faster. NLP is always included in my hypnotherapy work.

Wouldn't you like to be you on a good day, every day?

NLP is not just for the therapy room, it provides you with active skills for positive Life change you can use again and again.

For those who have religious, consensual or medical reasons to not undergo hypnotherapy, NLP tools can produce effective change without the need for trance.


What Conditions Can Be Helped?

I am experienced at treating conditions such as smoking, anxiety, lack of confidence, phobias of all kinds, depression, and have a special interest in anxiety disorders, allergic responses, healing and pain control.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP can resolve many, many other conditions and problems as well, even conditions which do not respond to traditional hypnotherapy techniques can be sucessfully addressed.
